Eliot Spitzer
Digital collage face from flickr photos.
8.5 x 11 inches
I was in such shock when I heard the news, as I am sure most of New York was. And I have to say I feel sort of sorry for the guy. Not that he got caught, but that he has to have his flaws thrown around publicly for the rest of his life. I decided to show a bit of one of his eyes in this piece, as I feel like the veil to his personality has been lifted, this tragic downfall has made him most human. I was really struck by this when I saw the photo from his first press conference and his face seemed to be collapsing in on itself in anger.
